Dancing Years

Time flies, out of sight
So much missing from this life
I’m not who I am or ever planned to be

Spend all my time counting
But it don’t add up
No peace, no quiet, no time for us
Not even the mirror knows it’s me

I can’t believe it’s come to this
My heart is set on this one wish

Let’s start the dancing years today
We’ve come this far so
