From the second that I saw you
When you smiled at me
It was like the heavens opened up
I could see eternity
And I was blown away

And when we finally spoke
Your words were like a song
Sweet music to my ears
I listened all night long
And I was blown away

I could hardly catch my breath
You were so wonderful I was thrilled and scared to death
All I knew right then was I could hold you night and day
It was magical, amazing
And I was blown away

Love was easy, effortless
A seamless, perfect fit
So simple and beautiful
It was such a gift
And I was blown away

We loved and laughed, talked and cried
We shared everything
We dreamt about our future and the joy that it would bring
And we were blown away

We marveled at the miracle, held each other night and day

Then as quickly as it started, it was over, it was gone
Beyond broken-hearted, it’s almost too much to go on
Now like a feather in the wind, discarded, tossed away
I’ve been floating aimlessly
Since I was blown away
