Six
new David Worby compositions were premiered at the
world-renown
Bluebird Cafe in Nashville on
January 26, 2006.
David has completed two new
compositions:" Must Have Done Something Right" co-written with
Jeff Silbar ("Wind Beneath My
Wings) and "Before She's Gone" co-written with
Maia Sharp (Bonnie Raitt,
Trisha Yearwood).
David is currently recording two
new songs with
Cliff Goldmacher for Universal.

Publishing Contract
David's song "Tell
Me Why" has been signed to a publishing contract with
Cherry Lane
Music, one of the world's leading independent music
publishers.
Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter, Rick Hahn (Celine Dion,
David Foster, Air Supply) has completed arrangement and
production work on one of David's compositions and plans to go
back into the studio in the Spring of '06.
Hot Nashville
Singer-Songwriter,
Jenn Harris,
has
co-written a song with David titled "Dancing Years"

Steven Sharp, CEO
of Sharp
Objects, Nashville's hottest new music publisher and song
plugging company, has inked a deal with David and welcomed him
onboard as a "Sharp Object Writer".
Noted Nashville songwriter
Bobby Carmichael (Lee Ann Womack, Randy Travis, Ronnie
Milsap, and Neal McCoy) and David Worby team up to write a
new song, "All That I Am."
Three new David Worby
compositions have been recorded at Straight Up Sound, Johnny
Neel's recording studio in Nashville.
Johnny Neel
(Grammy nominated keyboard artist formally with the Allman
Brothers Band) plays keys on all three songs, and is featured on
vocals on "Meant To Be." Warner Brothers recording artist,
Joanna
Cotten is featured on vocals on"
No Use Loving You."

David Worby's song, "All About Love" was performed by Anna Bergman and The Pasadena POPS on July 15, 16, at
the Descanso Gardens.
The audience applauded the
performance of David's composition, "All About Love" which was
perfectly placed between "When You Wish Upon A Star" and "Over
The Rainbow." |
